• Perform routine preventive and basic corrective maintenance on marine engines and onboard mechanical equipment.
• Carry out engine oil and filter replacement according to maintenance requirements.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform general servicing of engine components and mechanical moving parts.
• Read and monitor engine gauges and operating parameters to support safe and reliable engine operation.
• Identify and report unusual gauge readings, fluid leaks, equipment damage, or signs of mechanical faults.
• Inspect engines and onboard equipment for oil, fuel, water, and other fluid leaks.
• Carry out basic leak repairs within the assigned maintenance scope.
• Inspect, repair, and replace damaged rubber hoses and pipe connections when required.
• Support routine maintenance and lubrication of winches, anchor equipment, and related mechanical systems.
• Assist with vessel refueling operations while following established safety procedures.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting based on equipment condition, visible signs, gauge readings, and fluid leaks.
• Support the safe execution of maintenance and daily vessel operations.
• Follow operational, maintenance, security, and safety procedures during assigned duties.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized and safe condition.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support vessel readiness and operational continuity.
